🧑‍💻 API & Webhooks – We have launched our API and webhooks so you can integrate with your other systems

Here’s the full list of everything we implemented in June 2025:

Major Product Updates

👨‍💻 API & Webhooks
We’ve released a new API and webhooks, making it possible to integrate Herodesk with your own systems. [Read more here.]

↩️ New Sitesage Widget
We’ve built a new integration with Sitesage.dk, which brings their AI engine directly into Herodesk.

🎨 Updated Design
We’ve updated parts of the Herodesk product design to make it lighter and more user-friendly. The conversation widget on the right-hand side has also been refreshed—it now displays the most relevant data by default and hides the rest.

Other Product Updates

  • Show the number of pending and open conversations under “Other conversations” in the right-side widget (#86b582rr4)
  • Open the conversation list on the correct conversation to prevent it from “jumping” (#86b58mcpa)
  • Improved DKIM email signing to ensure alignment with sender domain (#86b52u2fm)
  • Removed internal emails from CC (#86b2utdmb)
  • Added a new Contact Custom Field type: Textarea (multi-line text field) (#86b4y6zcm)
  • Added a new Rule action to assign a conversation to the last user who replied (#86b2cnd67)
  • Nicer and more descriptive error pages when an error occurs (#86b5dx37d)
  • Improved display of emails in Herodesk, especially “quotes” when a full thread is sent in (#86b5fjvmr)
  • Enabled embedding of YouTube, Vimeo, etc., videos in Help Center articles (#86b5g3c9u)

Bug Fixes 🪲

  • Fixed bug where the conversation list didn’t update when new messages arrived (#86b551762)
  • Handled scenario where anti-spam bots click links in emails and invalidate signup links (#86b4v4ade)
  • Fixed loading issues with some widgets in specific cases (#86b5dx3p3)
  • Forwarding a conversation using keyboard shortcuts could open incorrect windows (#86b57n7zq)
  • Fixed bug where AI manipulation of message drafts removed inserted images (#86b37pybk)

As always, we’ve also made a number of improvements “under the hood.” This time, we focused especially on caching, which makes Herodesk load faster, and we’ve also built a large number of automated tests to help prevent errors going forward.
